Acrylic on Paper or Canvas

I am a local landscape painter best known for my idyllic views of the Midwest, capturing the quiet expanse, and the life that inhabits it.

Growing up in New Hope, PA I was inspired by the open land and pastoral scenes that I was able to explore every day. Portraying this quiet life in a very clean photo realistic style, I work primarily with acrylic paint on watercolor paper or canvas, a medium I have been honing from my first art classes in high school. After graduation I took my love of art, to the Rhode Island School of Design where I studied Illustration and painting, hoping to one day be a gallery artist. After graduating in 2005 I took a different path in art, spending the next 12+ years lending my creative skills to the advertising world as a graphic designer, all the while harboring my desire to paint. Finally refocused on painting, I have been accepted to a number of group shows, displaying art in NYC, West Virginia, Maryland, and events throughout PA.

Thank you for taking time to read this and I hope you enjoy my work!
